Hardscape & Landscape General Laborers
Summary: The Hardscape & Landscape General Laborer is responsible for performing various tasks to aid daily operations at a construction site, assisting the installation crew and team lead. Duties include, but not limited to loading and unloading tools or raw materials, preparing and cleaning construction sites, digging trenches, compacting earth, backfilling holes, and installing planting such as perennials, shrubs, and trees. Other duties as assigned. This position is seasonal. Qualified employees may be eligible for Unemployment Benefits during the off season.

Less than a High School Diploma
-
• 1 year construction/hardscape/landscape experience preferred
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads of up to 50 pounds, etc.)
• Conduct Strenuous and physically demanding tasks for long hours and in extreme environmental conditions
• Good hand-eye coordination
• Familiarity with power tools and machinery is a plus
• Communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to safety rules
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from job sites

• Assist Team Lead and installation crew in Installing hardscape and landscape projects such as brick pavers, retaining walls, fire pits, plantings, and other outdoor living areas per design guidelines
.• Safely operate heavy construction equipment and masonry tools like saws, compactor, excavator, etc.
.• Prepare job sites before installations, maintain clean and safe work environment during installations and clean up on project completion
• Comply with the company’s safety policies and procedures
• Loading and unloading tools or raw materials to and from job site
• Other duties as assigned
